Meyer Florida Trip

Florida was just as fun as ever...lots of family time!

This year we enjoyed a house on a golf course with a pool and lots of day trips to the beach

And some extra-special time with Nana and Papa

 

Winter wonderland

We have been enjoying winter so far.  Today we checked out the new Edgewater Ice Rink with Nana and Papa.  Surprisingly Sofia and Ty got the hang of ice skates. I was impressed for their first time ever on skates!   We have also been having fun sledding in our back yard/ school hill (with mommy watching from the warm house)!

October Fall Fun

 Trick-or-treat!!!

We had a great October filled with outdoor farm and fall fun

We started with picking pumpkins at the Voss farm and visted a few others around the area.

Somehow this year, we have about 10 pumpkins around the house

Then, I got to go with Tyler on his first field trip to a pumpkin farm.

And, Sofia had the last soccer game of the fall season.

 

Then, there were 3 days of Halloween parties and festivities!

They have had a blast all week and hopefully we won't be crashing from our sugar high too hard tomorrow.

 

Fall fun

 We enjoyed the beautiful weather this afternoon and went to a fall farm and did some raspberry picking and apple eating!

 

First Day of School

 Both kids had a great first day!

Sofia is in 1st grade, and Tyler is now in 4K (4 year old Kindergarten)

And, Maddie thinks she should be in pictures too!

Here's to another school year....lets hope it goes slow, because I am not ready for ALL the kids to be in school next year!

Summer Craze

Here are a bunch of pictures to catch you up on our busy summer....

We got to join our friends and neighbors for a weekend in Minaqua for some fun on the lake

 

 

Maddie turned 2!

And, we managed to squeeze in 2 Mallards baseball games

The kids love our pool, and all of them are little fishy

We also went to devils lake again, and this time hiked the big rocks!

 

Then, last week, Sofia broke her arm riding her scooter!

She has liked all the attention, and been a trouper having to miss out on the summer water fun

 

Finally, today, we had a great day....went to the farmers market and then spent the day on Nana and Papa's boat!

 

I wish summer was longer, but we look forward to living up the next 3 weeks before school!
